Wildcat Canyon Community School — El Sobrante, CA

About the Site

Pros

  • 91 acre property which could potentially be of use for events beyond Boar Hunt
  • Campsites/potential for overnight events (campsites have composting toilets)
  • Upper field that could be used for war/formation practice (I am guessing)
  • Small kitchen available; probably not big enough for preparing a feast, though.

Cons

  • Limited bathroom access in main building
    • One adult restroom in the main building.
    • Access to bathrooms for 6th graders ( boys and girls. There are 3-4 toilets in each)
  • Poison oak
  • Expensive

Video of Trails

While this trail theoretically intersects, I believe it effectively does not in it’s current state; there is clearing of brush that would probably need to happen.
This is the first trail I was on. It is the longest and around the 5:37 second mark, I descend to a section that I say “if it was cleared…” this *might* be where the second trail theoretically intersects.
This is an on foot recording to give an idea of how far the trail is from the building where “not hunting” activities would be.
